One of the comments I very often get from Eels fans I know, who don't participate on 1Eyed Eel is that they think the discussions are too negative.
Now as you know, I generally have a subtle moderation policy - as long as people don't go overboard with language or abuse. people are free to express whatever opinion they choose. However, I can understand how some fans just don't want to wade into that stuff and they just want to love their Eels unabashed and uncritically.
Or maybe after a game, you just want to talk about the match without having to listen to people bitch and moan about this player or that.
So I've created a new group - 1Eyed Extreme. It's very simple. No negative comments. None. Ever.
If you join the group and break the policy you'll be suspended immediately. If you think its lame, stay away. But I hope this becomes another way for Eels fans to join our community who don't want to get into the argy bargy of the main forum.

I think your time might be better served in the main Forum Muttman :-)
5 wins is better than 4 you know.
I am sometimes negative but I hope I do it in a fashion that comes across semi blunt but relaxed.
I am a very serious Eels fan and I love to deabte with all my 1Eyed colleagues.
You may need to give some guidelines to what can or can not be said in this new forum.
I think you'll find that this group is designed to cater for the flag wavers rather than those who want to critique and de-construct every aspect of the game.
Seriously HH I don't think we'll be missing much if we're confined to the main forum ;-)
JJ just added a blog in this grop saying Luke Burt is a deadset legend.
No argument from me. He is a clubman through and through.
However if I was to debate that I envisage him at fullback only as he is wasted on the wing and that I dont want to give him a wing spot in 2012 due to him not getting involved as much on the flank as well as lacking the speed and size we require moving forward.
Is this seen as negative in this new forum?
