  • Some things are more important than silly footy-code wars. It was truly a devastating event and as you said it was a sign of respect. It doesn't matter if the AFL would do the same or not, we are above that sort of question. They also did it at Penrith on Friday night and there weren't any noises coming from the crowd, was great to see as you usually get 2-5 dickheads that have something to say during a minute silence.
