A hope for the year Flegg could win the Grand Final.

Our Jersey Flegg team was 2nd last at round 14. Currently they are sitting 7th and over the last few weeks have knocked off the top teams. It seems they actually have a chance to win this. I know after saying this they will probably not win another game but the team improvement is remarkable

  • Flegg is stupid. A 15 team competition but only top 5 make finals.

We need sharks and manly to lose 1 game each and we win all 3. Manly do have a toughist draw whilst Sharks do not worse a team above them on the ladder. I will say that teams in Flegg change a lot due to injuries and selection in cup and NRL. So hopefully things work out for our flegg side and we make the top 5.

Twiddle got injured during the week unfortunately and Latu has been out for the year a while back. But otherwise the Flegg side is being prioritised and full strength. Talagi, Sanders, MA did not play flegg this year so would not have qualified for finals hence why they are not considered in that side either.

I will be watching their game next week against bottom place Fiji side. I expect them to thrash them. Hopefully sharks and manly lose. I am sure every team is scared of us right now.

  • I honestly do not even care for our junior system anymore. What's the point in caring when we lose all the good ones anyways.

  •  I went down to Merrylands on the weekend to watch the flegg and was very impressed.  Young Tyrese Lokeni off the bench has huge potential very much in the mould of Isiaiah Papalii. Josh Hodgson was around chatting to people found him very good to have a chat with he will be coaching the Harold Matts next year he said.

    • Lokeni has massive potential. He played backrow in SG ball this year and made his way into Flegg roughly 8 weeks ago. He is also signed to the Warratah's U19 side so we do have competition to keep him. He did not play SG ball last year because he focused on school boy union with Kings School. He is a very destructive runner.

      • Unfortunately it looks like he is managed by Isaac Moses as well...

      • Sounds like a keeper EA, but remains to be seen if we can retain him.

  • Always hoping to keep the good players we developed ... that's Parra.
