lol, I remember when my kids were going thru primary school, I worked odd hours and was often home at school pick up time - I ALWAYS volunteered - of course there were many shockers where you would thing to yourself "who the hell did that", but there was plenty of yum mum talent too - and I was the caring dude that took time out of his day to pick up the kids - - jeez I was a good dad :)
Fellahs try working in one and seeing both sides to the teachers and parents....! And not being able to say much.
having family members in teaching (both in public and private schools), it's a job that gets as much unwarranted flak as being a police officer (and I was in the department years back and know the unwarranted crap that is thrown at some good hard working cops!).
There are tools on all sides of the equation!
