A good omen

The last time nadal v federer final in AU's open was in 2009. We made the grand final. Could history repeat itself? Nadal won that final, at the start of the tournament I put $5 on nadal to win it. If he wins i collect $60. I thought nadal was back after watching him play before AU's open but didn't think federer could make another final lol. Any way back to footy could it mean a successful year for the eels. Who's superstitious?

Parra2, I love an omen or anything that looks like whenever it's about Parra so I'll take this one too,but.

A better one to hang your coat and $5 on would have to be the fact that thelast time we changed our home ground while a new one was being built we won 3 GF's playing out of Belmore Oval.

True and anz is also dogs home ground so maybe the next 3 gf will be ours? Wonder what where paying this year for the win. Hang on did we play out of belmore in 81?

I like it, another one is we made the grand final in 2001, 2009 both 8 years apart, 2017 is 8 years from 2009..

Nadal lost, I lost my bet but in 09 nadal won and we lost gf so dose that mean we win the gf? Dammm it would be good if we win!
