  • Frankie Fong is reported to have done it for someone else on here, so perhaps he could do it again for you.

  • Sorry to hear the very sad news, Ken. I do hope the little boy gets the jersey and hopefully gets well too. I cannot even imagine what his parents must be going through.
  • Yes, nicely said Slippery.  If Fong cannot help you, I know quite a few former players.  Am happy to message them to see if they can assist in any way but cannot offer any guarantees as they have moved on.

  • Have you actually messaged the Club directly Ken?  I am sure they would jump on this given the visits they do to Children's Wards etc etc

  • Hi Ken, very sorry to hear about the little bloke, all the power to him.

To be honest if his birthdays on thurs you might have left it a bit late.

You can get a signed jersey, but there is a specific way to go about these types of things and it usually is in writing, there is the address for this type of request on the eels site but its too late for that.

Bern is a good bloke, call him on monday morning, if you cant get him contact Bev Paul at the club and explain whats doing.

  • Hi Ken I've hit the club up for tickets etc over the years for work I've found them pretty helpful.

cr@parraeels.com.au if not call the community realations department
  • Hi Ken,

Hope the little one gets better soon. Seven years old, his parents must be beside themselves.

I don't have any connections with the club, but i am sure the 1eyed fraternity are thinking of the little one and his/her parents.

I am sure the club will help.

  • This is a very sad post I really hope someone can help you ken. Would any one at the leagues club be able to help.
  • It says on the parra websites donations department that the club will defiantly help whith fans that have fallen on hard times. A jersey signed by them is nothing I'm sure they would love to do that for this little boy.
  • Peter Wynn always try's to help.

"Exactly, Muttman. It's about habits and mindset. Everyone always says trial form means nothing, but some players don't like to loss coin tosses or ping pong rallies no-one is watching."
