A bit of perspective

After a bit of an embarrassing show tonight I thought it's important to put a bit of perspective into the actual team that we had on the park tonight:

  • Brad wasn't playing either
    • Oops. Ta Eels12. Updated now.

  • Agreed we are down on troops but the Titans were woeful tonight and we should have beaten them with an even weaker team.
    • Why? That's just hoping. There's no logical reason as to why we should have won that game. We weren't just down on troops we were decimated
  • Thanks Captain, hopefully those screaming for change will get it into their thick heads that BAs hands are tied. I'm sick and tired of the same people baying for BAs blood, how many times do they have to be told the situation our club is currently in.
I feel for BA, he has to come up with a 'win' every week with the players that he has at his disposal. A bloody tough ask.....
  • Tough to beat a team that has NRL standard halves. That was where the game got,out of our control, basically Sezer was head and shoulders the best back on the field. We dominated in the fwds , not so much when Lussick was on the field, but all other times

But you can't do much if you have the 6 & 7 we had tonight, they were beyond awful
    • Totally agree Derek, the forwards for the most part dominated, but once it went to the halves, ho hum....
  • Excellent work. Saved me from writing a blog. Our injury list is now beyond a joke, including players playing busted. I've mentioned before that Wenty fielded about 10 RM Cup players last week, and their RM Cup is having to acquire new players. Has someone got a figure on how many different players Parra has used this year? I know Wenty has used well over 35 different players. When the injuries even take away back up players, you have a crisis. if the injured players were rested, I dread to think what players would end up taking the field.
  • Sorry mate I can't agree. When your opposition dishes up that rubbish and u still get beaten by a clear 10 points that's just unforgivable . We had enough talent on the park to have won that game, based on how poorly our opposition played, but as usual we find a way to lose. It's what we do best. I'm not asking for the coaches head, I never have, but I will bag our team when they deserve it and tonight they most definitely deserve it.
  • We are going to get flogged by Penrith next week.
