What NRL team would you be supporting if you had chosen the season's premiers of your year of birth?

1974 for me and I'd be a Roosters supporter! Eat your heart out Fongy!!! :)

PS Funny thing was that all my cousins were Dragons, Bunnies and Bulldog supporters and I was the first to go for Parra. Thanks to living in Auburn, having the next door neighbours the Peterson's who were die hard Parra fans. I remember the dad drinking his coffee/tea from his Parra mug with the club emblem, the 1981 team poster on the office wall. Parra, its colours and emblem always seemed warm and friendly. I started truly following in 1982.

  Slugg, a couple of people below have mentioned the 1977 Grand Final replay. I know you were a mate of "Shovels" Olling who actually gave you his blood stained jersey from that game but do you have any idea how he got the nickname "shovels"?

        Was very long, handle like shaft and huge shovel like head.

  Cheating ref scum in the replay. He only handed about 20 warnings to Rod Reddy for dirty play. If I'm not mistaken the ref worked for the Dragon's sponsor's, Penfolds.
