The passing of Bob Fulton inspired the Manly side to a great win over Parra. Whilst I agree with the sentiments about Blake and to a lesser extent Jake Arthur please put the knives away and appreciate where we are as a club. One loss does not make a winter. There are 14 clubs who would love to be where we are.

9 wins and 2 loses is just a diguise. None of it matters come finals time. What matters is the glaring weaknesses in the team.

I agree with John. We only lost 2 games. With new high tackle rule there will be lot of upheavals..wait and see. To be honest I don't have much expectations from the team, I know and accepted that we won't win comp in near future. I can't blame only the coach or a single player. It's a collective failure. We are not favoured club and we do dumb things such as salary cap bad recruitment...etc. So I am in peace with my club. If we win a game I love it. If we loose we loose. That's why I record the game. If we win i see it normal speed. If we loose i fast forward it and delete the game.

This team is capable of winning any game and are having another good season, however we still look like the best of the rest. There is still something in the attitude that holds us from taking the step up required to win a title. The Panthers, Storm and Roosters ( Bar the weekend ) will stick to their game plan for 80 minutes and everyone knows this so it makes their oppersition nervous which makes them make mistakes. The Eels will tend to drop away at certain points of the game even when they are playing well and the other 15 teams know this, so instead of being nervous, they are waiting for their opertunity to strike. Focus on the task at hand for 80 minutes a week is the next step.

It's how we loose games is the worry, and it's normally our RS defence, team panics we then play dumb footy
20 out the only thing we have is the power play. MM and DB don't offer alot with ball in hand. Have a look at the fore/against, the top sides are 120 plus in front of us.
I do not want to get pessimistic at this point. Honestly this season should have been 2020. This year it should be going toe-to-toe with Penrith. Saying this... I am not sure what is the remedy. I understand that Dylan is not there and he is a better defender than JA. If we are not in GF this year, I think it is time for another round of re-building. We need a coach who has a winning attitude and knows how to win a game.

If Maguire would have been our coach instead of BA, do you think we would be sitting above Penrith ?
