So 8th has won their finals game 3 times (Warriors 08', Parramatta 09' and North Queensland 17'). Each of those times 8th won in week one of the semis they won the following week also, with Parramatta and NQ making the GF.
That is a bad omen considering we are a team historically known to lose in straight sets, i cannot deal if it happens again, it leads to no growth as a squad, winning next week will grow our squad.

The Super Dud coach had a really great opportunity to bypass going to North Qld against the Cowboys IF he used to his brains he would have selected a far stronger and experienced bench against the Panthers. It's now basically season over in my opinion. They will not beat the Raiders without Moses and even with Moses it's going to be tough. Then going to Townsville in very hot humid conditions to play Cowboys. It's basically season over
Agree , If BA hadve picked Cartwright on the bench , Moses wouldn't have went off with a head injury and we would've won. Stupid Brad and his stupid selections.
Don't forget in 08 , 09 the eighth team had to play 1st team wk 1 of the finals. Can't remember 2017.. Raiders had to play no. 5 not the riff . Bit hard to compare

I can't remember the make up of the Warriors 08 side. Remember the game against Storm though in week 1, that was a cracker.
I think Reuben Wiki, James Maloney, Simon Mannering and the Beast played it that team.
But in 09 and 17, those teams won because they had one player absolutely on fire in Hayne and Morgan.
I think we beat the Raiders, I'm pretty confident of that.
