that was the crowd attendance for the grand final rematch, Parramatta vs Storm! lowest of the round, and one of the lowest of the year!
im sure i dont need to set everything up for you and tell you why we wanted and needed to win this match!
you can whinge about the weather all you like but nothing was going to stop me going to the game and yelling abuse at the storm players! ( plus it didnt even rain )
i thought parra had the die hard fans who would do anything for the club!

Gave my ticket to a mate to take his brother or sister, but his partner just had a baby, so I think both of our seats were empty.
I think what it reflects is that we get a lot of families to the game. There were hardly any kids around compared to other matches, which you would put down to a combination of the weather and the perception that there might be trouble. When you consider family groups on average would account for 4 people, your crowd figures start to diminish pretty quickly when you take them out of the equation.
I actually think its a bit of an issue for the club that we've have and will continue to have a massive run on non-family friendly times. Round 2 has so far been the only Sunday afternoon game at Parra Stadium (Souths was Sun avo I think but at ANZ) and the next best we get between then and Round 21, which is where they're yet to assign times to is the upcoming 5:30 game against Brisbane.
So if you bought a family membership ticket this season, expecting to enjoy four or five Sunday avo games, you're going to come to the end of season being pretty disappointed. I think its something Ozzy and the administration needs to be aware of and to do what they can with the NRL to get an even share of matches.
If we had 15,000 at the game, we would of sounded like 30,000!
Slater's a wanker!
