I'm no David Middleton, but I would like to know the stats on a team winning who completed 66% of their sets (23/35) versus a team who completed 86% of their sets (31/36) Add to that our players dropping like flies with injury, an ugly, but very gusty win we should be proud of.

Remember Juniors barnstorming runs ?Mannah's line busting runs ? Pauli Pauli ? Meoroa barnstorming try ?
Remember Semi's tackle centimetres from the line and the tackle at the death that was ruled a no try, dropped before the line ?
Melbourne simply a boring team. It is not about completions but what you do with the ball when you have it. Far better to score a try 1 in three sets than to simply hit the ball up for 6 and kick and that is counted as a complete set. The key stat is repeat sets rather than completed sets. Roosters do not have a brilliant completion rate but keep winning because thay score points and defend well.
I don't think the storm will defend that poorly again.
Generally teams that win have about 80% competion rates.
From the winning teams on the weekend the completion rates were;
Tigers- 36/42 86%
Roosters- 25/32 78%
Titans- 33/41 80%
Parra 23/35 66%
