  • With the Warriors style i think they will be real tough without Peats in the middle, in fact without Peats i fear for the confidence of our team, i dont think we will be winning all these easy games, its a real worry, nothing is certain now.

    • We'll know on Friday snake against the Cowboys how Parra gel without Peats. You're not writing Parra off??
  • Agree with snake.
Let's see what the official prognosis is.
Praying every night its only 6 weeks out which will be a miracle.
  • They said on the footy show that peats is gone for the season :(
  • The cows have all their origin players out dont they?

If they do we should beat them without Hayne and Peats, they were shocking against the raiders.

Im not writing us off to scrape into the 8, especially without a few of the top teams not doing great, but without Peats i think we will be cannon fodder in the semis.

But if we make the 8 or get close i will still consider this year as a great year and BA as a huge success, i tipped us bottom 4, anything else will be a good year imo.

    • Origin players miss the Bulldogs game. All origin players are on deck next weekend. Cowboys are now winning games, but Friday will be our home turf.

    • Parra have bounced back from floggings this year so why can't it happen again.
    • How are we struggling? We lost a game where our best player was out and were down to 15 men pre half time practically. One of those lussick was close to our best forward before he got injured. We had 40% of possession. Penrith were just too good. This year the comp you will see teams get a big score put on them (roosters v cowboys) then bounce back. really only 3 teams are out of the hunt foe the 8. We have gone through our hardest part of the season and coming up against the 3 bottom sides 5 out of the 12 or so remaining games we have a dogs team with origin players out and storm after origin game 2. So we have given ourselves the luxury to drop a couple of games v top 8 quality sides because we re halfway to the 8
  • Warriors at home always extremely hard to beat.

  • Every team this weekend that has won has beaten their opposition by no less than 14 points. I don't know if it is the pace of the game this year or because of the aftermath of Origin, but even the 'elite' teams are getting walloped every now and then. I'm not saying Parra can bounce back and be one of the better teams in the competition (as I don't think they can with Peats out for an extended period) but I don't think loss is as bad as what people are suggesting.

"He played two weeks I think at left centre last year at the start. We abandoned that quickly but maybe we can consider it next year with Russell gone. Maybe a year or two next to the fox would sort him out."
