With the 5 now unable to do any work for the football side of things, & the NRL's legal eagle saying the club can manage with the current 4 what are really the next steps.
Putting aside the drama's now relating to the likely lose of Nathan Peats or someone else, we have a list of around 25 players that are off contract at years end, although I am reasonably sure that 3 of them listed have been resigned, namely Danial Alvaro, Tyrel Fuimaono. & Kaiser Pritchard.
There's likely no doubt we still have value players coming off contract as well, not the least is Corey Norman, with this in mind I am wondering who will take over the contract negotiations now, while its a way to go & not yet half way point in the season, I see there is an urgent need for those the coach wants to keep to now have the contracts settled. So who does this under the existing arrangement?
If none are able to do a contract, can a letter of agreement or similar be permissible to try & ensure we can keep those players that are wanted.
