As of today, 1Eyed Eel passed the 4000 member mark.
Well, it's actually 4005 now as I foolishly held off approving people so I could make a big deal of number 4000 and then every time I went to approve the 4000 someone left the site and that person became number 3999 and then when I came back over the weekend I have 8 member requests waiting.
On a countback basis, number 4000 does appear to be Joshuatheeel. However, pretty much anyone who joined since last Friday technically could have been 4000 seeing as though I just approved you all at the same time.
Every time I think the site is going to plateau, it finds a new level or a way to surprise me.
Despite, Parramatta being far less successful this year than last year all of the metrics have been up by around 20 percent. Even this month, deep into the off-season with little news around, the site's been visited by some 33,000 visitors.
As much as the site breaks down into periods of near Guerilla warfare at times, that shows very strongly how much of a community you all are and once again how passionate Parramatta Eels fans are.

Not wanting to sound negative but:
Have you thought about doing a clean up re members.
Doing the birthday blog for a while now, you do notice a fair few duplicate accounts where the person obviously couldnt log in so they made a new account. And others who have never posted or their last post was back in 2010. Maybe also duplicate IP's too?
Just curious as to how many 'real' members here and how many regular members contribute at least once every 6 months or so.
Super effort considering the appeal is limited to one sport and one club.
Unless like the eels we count pets too.
Top_dawg hasn't been on here for a while. Maybe he's still in hiding after Canterbury's bowing out of the finals. There's also Scott Stevens and Stephen Kearney, and perhaps countless other guys that haven't been on here since probably 2010.
Anyway, congrats on the 4000 members, Phil. We truly have the best supporters in the game.
