Next year will be 40 years since our great triumphs of 1975. It would be great to recognise this with a function inviting then coach Norm Provan, reserve grade coach Terry Fearnley, the players who were involved and fans. Maybe the NRL would finally release the highlights footage they have of the semi final playoffs and semi finals. It was a landmark year as we also won our first ever competition - the pre season Wills Cup with John Vincent diving over in the corner to seal the win. Maybe this could be done as the theme for a Grand Final lunch/dinner? Over to you Larissa and Phil........

How quickly they forget!!! If I reply to my own blog about 400 times I can go from least to top of the list. Where is Tele1 when you need him? Well then.....I went for a walk today and was overtaken from behind by a turtle. It looked battered and bruised so I asked 'what happened to you?' Turtle replied "I got mugged by 2 snails but it all happened so fast................
Loved Sarfraz. He used to be one of my favourites to mimic in the cricket nets. Running in with both arms straight down either side of his body before raising his left arm and letting rip. Great memories and avatar.
While still walking I came across a sign that read "Talking Dog For Sale". I went in and asked the dog if he had enjoyed his life and the dog replied "I have helped the poor, I have fought in the Gulf and now I read books to the elderly in nursing homes". I asked the owner "Why are you selling such a fabulous animal" and the owner replied "because he's a liar, he didn't do any of that...........
