I start a new Religion and scam all you kents out of your money all while seeking out whatever grants I could get from the government to help me do it.

That's a lot of money even for my wife.
First I would quit my job. Wouldn't even tell the pricks I won't be coming into work, they woukd figure it out eventually.
Well the obvious things get fixed next like paying off the mortgage, help out immediate family, but fuck the friends.
Then I would go on a long extended holiday to think about it and put the rest in a term deposit while I let it sink in. Don't want to rush into anything and make a big mistake like a bad investment.
Once I had really had time to absorb the enormity if it, I would definitely buy a heap of property and probably start up a business to fill out my days.
Basically live off my rental income, share dividends and interest.
Guarantee you I would turn that $40mill into $100mill with 5-10years.
I spent half of it on wine and women, and I just wasted the rest.
Not that I've thought about it... but:
* 5 acres around Dural + unit in town + unit up north coast + unit down the snow in Jindy.
* Merc C63 AMG Black Series + Ford F150 Raptor + Nissan GTR
* R32 GTR + HQ BB coupe + 67 Mustang fastback w/ Eleanor treatment
* Update my Fireblade to 2014 + Ducati 1098R Bayliss LE
* Sunseeker Predator 68 or similar boat
* Take a few good mates on round the world trip following the F1 season country to country
* Invest about $20M and keep what would probably be about $5M as the retirement fund.
Nice problems to have working out what to do with that sort of coin... at least dreams are free...
