After being embarrased and bowled out for 170 odd, bowlers doing a great job getting us back in the game with the poms currently at 3/24.
I think Stokes is key to remove because once he gets his eye in, he scores rapidly.

Poms 6/53. If we can bowl them out quickly we'll take a handy 70-80 run lead which is funny.

True the be told, you have 2 teams that can't bat to save their lives.
The batting averages of both teams are embarrsing bar Smith who's the only world class batsmen out there.
I like the look of Labuschagne. 2 innings with consecutive 50's is to be admired.

Excellent point, hence the topsy turvy form for top order batsmen , and to lesser extent musical chairs with selection. Its ! its ! .... just not cricket , for crying out loud .
A bit of that but also they have been screwing around with the Duke's ball. It has a bigger seam not which gives it more movement of the wicket. I read that county batsman in general have been struggling with it the last 2 years.
Goes to show how great a batsman Steve Smith is. Labuschagne is doing a marvellous job too. We're unearthern it seems a batsman for the future. I'd probably drop Khawaja next Test for Smith. I'd to the same with Paine after the Ashes. He's a horrid batsman. Steve Smith should get back the captaincy in December.
Agree about paine. Gives us nothing in Batting. Average on Gloves and decent captain. SMITH best player by far...
What a bunch of useless c*nts. How the fuck do you lose from their position? Lyon drops the ball to make the run out but previously Paine threw a willy-nilly review with the ball clearly going down legside to a Cummins ball. Stokes would have been LBW if we still had a review at hand.
Ashes are gone. No chance of coming back from today.
