Going into 2021 with only a squad of 26 players at this stage, we do not have the depth to cover injuries whilst being competetive ?
We desperatley need at least TWO, NAME signings . A Centre and Prop IMO. With two junior rosters fillers.
Outside of our arguably top 17 , the remaining 18 to 26 must take up the slack. Considering on average most clubs use 27 players each season.

I think N Roach will get promoted from the develop squad,
I would promote Viliami Penisini into our 30 very good young centre coming through, would promote Sean Russell who is a young fullback coming though.
we don't need to buy anymore players, we just need to promote the younger players, we need to look what Penrith did and how good they went this year by promoting all the younger players

If there is one area that we have not had real smarts in for a while is with the so called development players, this year we see Hollis named in the main team, also Lussick's return, Hughes after his lift late last year brings some more younger players into the squad that will bring their development up a few notches, Lussick may well finally show his skills to be Reeds backup, maybe even take a bench spot as Reeds rest player.
While the MJ issue is still an unknown, that may well be our main battle area to fill, Opacic is the key there at this stage. Overall though I do not see the need to bring in more forwards as those we have as the main pack and rotations have the ability to lift compared to last year. Where we have real needs are in the backs, especiallly the 2-5 spots, If Fergs is fit, swap him and Waqa, Fergs goes in field a lot so would be better served in the centres and feed Waqa who has speed on the wing, should help the defence. Sivo seriously needs to get his act together and that may be helped by who takes the centre spot for him, he could be tried at Centre though and use his size and feed his wing man, gives Dunster a shot there.
There is still time for the eels to sign players for 2022 to fill the needed holes in the backline, and/or develop them from CC.

Although I see your point - we are domed, no chance and maybe should save time and money by forfeiting the 2021 season.
When was Roache promoted to the top 30. He is not listed as such on the eels site or zero tackle.
