Three peat for the Roosters this year? Personally I think $300 on 5 in a row for the Roosters is not out of the question, I beleive the increase in the salary cap has made it more likely that players that are looking for a Premership will go to the Roosters rather than slog it out in a lesser team.

Parramatta to go down in the grand finale to the roosters with a dodgy call. Still will be a over achievement
They certainly are capable of it, but I wouldn't be banking on it. It's tough to keep getting yourself up for it every year, particualrly in a league where there is so much parity on any given day.
The cap increase means nothing, the Roosters will have already used that projected increase to retain their core of Cordner, JWH, Keary, Friend, Manu, Tupou, Taukeiaho & Tedesco whilst upgrading the likes of Nat Butcher, Lindsey Collins, Sam Verrills & also adding Kyle Flanagan.
There will be the odd veteran like a Brett Morris who'll play for the near minimum for a shot at a ring, but most won't.
No chance, they fell across the line last season and were mentally and physically spent acheiving something that hasn't happened in 25 years, going back to back.
They have lost Cronk and Mitchell and Mitchells replacement is out for the season, i just can't see them being able to lift again. I reckon the eels have more chance of winning than the roosters.
Geez don't say that now I'm getting nervous.??? I've just been told of a very reliable source that parramatta eels could be equal favourites in the time frame as earlly as round 1
It will be interesting to see what other clubs are saying about Parra's chances this year. We can be a bit one eyed as Parra fans. Equal favourites sounds a little over the top though.
Longfin, we are in control of our destiny and for me if we can improve our defence a bit and also composure to be consistent runners we can make a dent in the finals. The mental side of playing for 80 mins improved last season but we need to have that tough mental edge to us (Easts, Melb and dare say Canerra) to compete higher.
The players have to back up again and again and be consistent. We have the squad on paper, howevers its on the field where we need to do it week in week out.
Nope , No , No way............ The Eels for mine...followed closely by Canberra then the Rorters. :)
Definitely worth throwing a few bills on it, big chance.
The only way the Roosters could win 3 in a row is the same way they won 2 in a row with the help of the referees and the bunker. The last thing that should have been after last year's result was this:
