Rumours going around at the moment that Parra arechasing players and Ryles is being active in recruitment. Next year Lomax is the fullback for me. He just needs to take that extra step into fullback and he'll be one of the elite players in our game. He needs to be around the ball more and is our X factor answer. I'd also would be signing Hunt from Cronulla. He has been told that he isn't wanted and he'd be exactly what we need if RCG is let go. Hooker is another position that needs filling and I'd be chasing Brailey. He isn't wanted at the knights and I think he'd be the perfect player to fill the void at 9. Now with the Holmes rumours going around as well I think we can field a side that could genuinely complete for the top 4 next year. A team mixed with young guns but also proved representative players. This is my best 17 for 2024:

It makes me wonder if there has been a change of plan by head office. When they said we were going after Bennett they said we had a team ready to win now, then when they hired Ryles they said they were going to surround him with experienced people from a winning background, that hasn't happened yet and now there is all this talk of players getting tapped on the shoulder. RCG, Sivo, Matterson, Lane and Cartwright have all been mentioned at some point as being tapped on the shoulder, some might not be true but even if half are true who are meant to be replacing these players with?. Hopefully some good recruitment is going on behind the scenes otherwise it's looking like we are using next season to start a rebuild.

There was nothing wrong with Ricky we just had a very shit back office that he figured out and made the right choice to get the hell out of the. His projector moment at Parra cleaned out a lot of the dead wood at the club which helped Brad Arthur to have such a good re build the year after
