Just with our poor recruitment, and the tendency of the players to consistently play poor throughout the seasons that have gone by, makes me thing we gonna experience same thing this season, but yes I hope they prove me wrong..

Eels are probably the hardest team to predict in the comp so I am going to do this based on where we SHOULD finish considering our roster, but we all know that anything can happen:

Premiers - Panthers --> no reason why they cant win again

Dally M - C Walker. I think N Cleary will still be the best player in the world but will just miss out on games due to origin so no Dally M.
Eels finish 5th, D Brown Best Player, Tulagi break out player. Joe O to return to his origin form.
Reece Walsh will win the Daly M it's already decided

Our consistently poor defence, our lack of quality backs and continued poor use of the bench will see us slip a little bit further down the ladder than last season.
Hope I'm wrong but I just don't see us finishing any higher up than 12th.

Eels Predictions
Finish 4th-6th. We were 4 games away 3rd and 4th teams last year and had plenty of bad luck with injuries and suspensions so with bit of luck it's definitely possible.
Best Player Gutho or Lane.
Breakout player Tuilagi if he gets game time but we know BA likes incumbents so unless injury strikes Tuilagi might not get opportunities he needs to breakout.
Most improved Penisini or Russell to shine and really improve our lack of a quality outside back.
