2023 Roster Changes

2023 Roster changes

Let’s face it 2022 is over and it's time to look towards 2023. Firstly it’s time for BA to go, I have been a supporter of his for years but he’s simply had the job for too long. We need a fresh approach and direction. In terms of recruitment, we need to fill in some voids. We have to go all guns blazing for the hammer, give him whatever money he wants he’s going to be a superstar in the next couple of years. He’ll provide the x-factor and game-breaking factor with his extra speed that we are lacking in our team at the moment. Losing players also allows us to change the style of footy that we play, we can look at shifting towards an attack that revolves around skill and not just relying on the power game. We should be going hard for Crichtion as well he’d fit perfectly for Papali’i and would help with our defensive woes on the right. Also, we should be going for Klemmer. He seemed keen to come to us this year and I don’t think it would take much for us to get Klemmer. Klemmer would add some steel and toughness to our sometimes ‘pedestrian style’ forwards. I also think we should bring Will Smith back to the club. He’s a great backup and a better option than young Arthur. Lastly, watching Hopgood in reserve grade yesterday I am very excited the kid looks special.

  •  just hoping out of fantasy talk into reality for a second.
There is a thing called the salary cap and I don't mean to alarm but Creighton, Klemmer and the hammer will not fit in with re signing Moses and Brown.
I do agree with Hopgood though could be a great buy.

    • Look at the roosters they're able to fit it into the salary cap why can't we? We're losing plenty I reckon we could fit those guys in.

  • I did this same exact blog the other day

And I still am not closer to figuring out how to fill the 30 man squad

  • Reality is we won't sign anyone of note and BA will still be the coach. As depressing as that sounds that's exactly what will happen.

  • Parra need to lock up Moses and brown, I'm sure someone will fill papli hole and do some what of a job.
I'm ex to see what hopgood has to offer.
