2022 Draw

Apologies if this blog has been done during preseason - I only logged on yesterday.

Of the 24 games we play this year, 14 of them are against bottom 8 teams from last year. We should make the top 4 this year with that draw.

I don't like soft draws though. I think, if you are going to win it, you have to test your mettle before the finals start.

  • Hey Johnny,

It's a decent draw but don't thinks it as soft as the journos have made out.
In the last 6 weeks leading into finals we play Panthers, Manly, South's & Storm. So like last year we are going to be tested on the run in.

  • Eels play Storm, Roosters, Souths, Panthers and Manly twice which were all top 5 last season.

Also play Titans twice and knights once meaning we play top 8 teams 13 times.

Some teams will improve and some will drop off from last season but as we have all seen many times, There really are no easy games in the NRL. Certainly there are games we should win but none are easy.

Dragons have beaten us the last 2 seasons and they look a better team this season as do the sharks.
