The Eels have been lucky with the first half of the season in that they played most of the bottom 8 teams and this second half of the season is going to show exactly how far off the pace we are.
I think the Rabbit's take full advantage of us and the Storm and Roosters will get revenge for the loses to us earlier in the season. I think the Panthers absolutely blow us off the park.
I think we just make the 8 maybe even just miss out but if we do make it we will go out in straigh sets again. Today showed how we handle sustained pressure and we handle it badly. We get dessperate, throw silly passes, take the low percentage plays and drop our heads. We are still a couple of better players away from winning the premiership.
I don't like to bag on our team after a loss but I have been feeling like this for sometime now and today highlighted why I have been feeling like that.

I would hold off on resigning BA until end of the year.

I still think we will make the top 4 given how shit the other NRl teams are. Panthers and Storm are so far ahead of other teams. We can be the last four standing if BA does what he needs to do. But does he have the balls to make some tough decisions. IDK?
We had the wobbles a bit past week but today was ordinary we fell apart under the blow torch we had enough ball but can't do anything with it hopefully it's not going to go like last year and it was just a off week but teams like Penrith and the Storm don't have off weeks that's what we need to be a contender
Think it's pretty obvious something needs to change in the coaching ranks if we keep making the 4 and getting kick out first week or 2, im angry sometimes I don't even know why I put my heart and soul into this club
We fix up that Blake / Fergo edge then we go a long long way to staying in games.

I think your wrong Matt. I still think we will be up there with the big boys in September. Fix up the right defence ie. take out Waqa, get Dylan back and I'd be playing another front rower on the bench but tonight was an off night and they played well. As Sterlo kept saying some of the passes that Gutho and Mitch threw were simply because we could not crack them. Order will be restored. We still have one of the best packs in the comp, an A+ spine and a good backline. It's easy to see the worst after a game like that but we will be back.

I think this year he has showed patience when things were tight. We had to have a go after they scored early in the 2nd half. Things didnt stick. I didnt think Moses was so irratic tonight? Just no real brilliant moments.
