  • Chief, 100% we still need more (top quality players ONLY) signings to make sure we are not just a top 8 team, but a top 4 team in 2019. For starters, I think Kaysa & King have proven they simply cannot play more than 4-6 games consecutively without breaking down with injury.
  • No 1st grade standard dummy half in the squad... the position that touches the ball the most.

Don't get enough attack out of those backrowers.

    Moses/ Austin 2 5/8's .. 2 hot and cold defenders.

    I'd say 15th/16th

  • You honestly think we’re going to go into 2019 with King playing 80 minutes? lmao
    • No. I'm just basing this on who we have secured for 19

Actually my mistake - neither kays or king are signed past this season and both should be released imo

      • Hooking wise we’re in a good position if we sign a good hooker because Mahoney has come through the ranks. That’s two hookers to replace our old hookers

  • If we sign Taupau, Segeyaro and Norman stays I think we can be top 6 but with what you have listed 10th - 14th.

    Forget Austin, go after Segeyaro.

  • There will be another 3 more changes to that team to compete
  • My edit & reply buttons are out injured again, so that's why I've gotta start separate replies. We need to sign a hooker that'll compliment Mahoney's game (especially if BA goes with 2 hookers next year) as well as further his development as a dummy-half. Plus we need at least 1 more metre-eating,offloading big bopper & a backrower or 2.
    • Mahoney has a lot to learn based on his two top games so far, 2 games 2 reports and a suspension are not good reads.

That said I believe he has a future, but I still believe that he and Pritchard should be the 9 and replacement off the bench.  When we knock down a player who gives his all as against others who perform at half his capacity and considered to be NRL standard players, one needs to really review who is worth the top spot and keeping on contract.  As for injuries, how many of the team have been injured at a similar rate or worse than him over the years?

  • The only place where I can add a reply is in the box directly underneath the Blog title. Then, after I send my reply through, I'm unable to edit obviously because that same box goes back to being empty again as it's supposed to. Is anyone else having this problem?
