I think that could be a loss we needed. Showed us we cannot just show up and win, showed us not to get a head of ourselves and showed us we need to be in the game from kick off. Lane and Reed were absolutely terrible tonight and should both learn from that. I think that loss will be good for a season!

Also, didn't like how jokey Gutho was before the game in the interview. 40 minutes before the game you'd expect, as captain, he'd have his game face on.
Don't be surprised to see Lane dropped to the bench against the Tigers and Nikore to start. I'm sure BA would dissect that performance to pieces.

Holy crap it's our second loss of the year! I'd argue that the Roosters at near full strength losing to a Raiders team going like busteds is a worse loss. No big deal!!

We were flat, came out terrible in the first half, couldn't get our attack going, had a number of players unavailable, were coming off a string of wins, let in 4 super soft tries (one highly dubious) and made a shitload of mistakes and yet we still ended up four tries all and went down by 2 goals. That's nothing like 2019 - not even close.
A loss like this shows the inherent quality and grit of this side. Hopelessly out of sorts on the day but still manage to hang in on the scoreboard. This game, in the long run, will do the side a world of good. BA will be highly pissed off but I reckon he saw this coming. He rested players that could have played. now they can refocus and work on getting that lethal defense and attack back on song.
Unlike soft cocks such as yourself I'm confident they won't wet thier pants and start panicking.
