Tonight was only 1 loss and I'm not one to overreact, but does anyone else smell a little 2018 season in the air?
Coming off a big trial win and with a lot of talk about being a contender our opening 2 games have been very laclustre. Our attack unimaginative and our defence second rate. 90 missed tackles across 2 games is abysmal. We have a lot of work to do this week and hopefully we can put in our best performance of the season to date to really launch our season and show how we want to play.
Otherwise 1-1 can quickly become 1-4 entering Easter Monday.

It definitely has those vibes including only differences in 18 we started strong in our 1st game then got run down this time we got the win and that may of papered over the cracks
Yeah not quite sure with that, by this time 2018 our year was over, we were woeful and worst team in the comp. At the moment we are not the worst team in the comp, far from it. But if someone told me they saw the future and we miss the 8, i would not believe but would also have a sense of it could happen. We are not as bad as 2018 nor will we be anytime soon, but with players leaving and a reboot not rebuild of sorts coming it could effect the team.
This club had a lemon being the premiership window, we are squeezing it as long as we can until every last drop is out, we are delaying an inevitable outcome of blowing it up and starting again, the longer we leave it the longer it takes for glory.
Brad arthur should be sacked if this season is like 2018.
It's to hard to say 2games into the season. But our two games were not of standard, we do not know what's happening behind the dressing sheds Wether the players don't want BA, Wether there's issues in the playing group, or Wether we are not taking the opening part of the season to seriously in hopes we don't gass out at the later part of the season.
Despite all this one thing is for sure and that's no pride for the jersey or respect for the fans has been portrayed these last 2 games. We know what this team is capable of and the last two games is not it.
Relax guys, it was the white jerseys. We never win wearing those, and we hardly ever win on a Saturday evening at Shark Park either. History was not behind us yesterday. The sky is not falling in, let's look ahead to next week.
