2017 Roster Blog - Top 25 & 2nd Tier

Thought I'd create a blog that can be updated as we sign and re-sign players to have a bit more clarity on our top 25 as this is always an area of interest. Currently we have 11 players off contract at the end of this year. We have a further 6 who will be here in 2017 but which tier of contract they have is not well known.

If anyone has some good info on who will be staying next year and what level of the cap they will be under add your knowledge so the blog can be updated accordingly.

  • With the recent signing and re-signings surely most of those of not all the off contract players will be moved on to stay under salary cap.

  • Folau and Hasson belong on the bottom tier.

  • Are we gonna re-sign Kelepi?
    • I'd like to think so, we are only an injury or 2 from being very skinny in the back row
    • I'd like to see him stay mate he was the best player in Wenty this year before he got injured
  • So happy David Gower is still around. I hate change. Confucian saying the more you change the more things stay the same. If it ain't broke don't fix it. BA said in an interview on Fox about a month ago he hopes to keep this lot together for at least 2 years.
  • I thought Robson signed for another year? I was impressed d with him this year. Give me a good, solid and reliable player anyday.
