We have a 9-7 record and in the 8 with a bit of comfort.

Most punters predicting we'd finish 10-12th. We've proved them wrong.

Who would have thought that at this stage of the season we'd be well above the likes of the Raiders, Panthers, Souths and Warriors?

BA and the boys should be proud of their achievement so far. Yes, we do have limitations but still have won the games we should have bar the one vs the Titans.

    • You never doubted us mate, and good to see you back buddy, hope youre going as best as possible under the circumstances.

    • Good to see you round again, Sluggy!

  • I picked us 4th to 6th, i was very confident pre season but lost confidence this year after the Roosters game and thought we'd struggle for the 8.

Well done to BA and the boys

    • Yeah, I personally had us at 6th (Unicornly I know). I was expecting French to smash it but it's been Guth and Brown!!!

The Saints losing today was a great result for us. I dont see them staying in the 8. I expect Penrith to make it.

We are probably not a lot better than the sides we are above but we have a way of grinding out results have lost only 1 game by 6 points or less and winning 5 if I'm not mistaken. Parra used to lose tight games. I think we changed that last year and it's carried onto this season. We have developed a mental toughness we hadn't possessed in years.

  • I think Brad Arthur has done pretty good considering.

  • If I was to pick at something from BA, it would be recruiting forwards. I think our hookers suffice for the role they are used for. They dont need to be flashy when you have Moses and Norman either side of the ruck. A couple of big boppers and we are set for top 4 next year.

Our game plan and plays can seem boring at times but i think this is because BA doesnt want to over complicate things for this year. Thankfully in only 2 games (Roosters and Cows) did we look disparaging.

We look set for big things in the next 2-3 years.

  • 4 points between us and 2nd we could still end very high in the ladder broncos are 4th 2 points ahead of us after our lose and we play them twice if eels can get to 4th or 5th could make a good go at the trophy
  • And those tips to miss 8 were before we had injuries that have hit and massive disruptions to team more so then most other sides.
Norman, kenny Edwards, peni terepo, mororea, take, and Bevan French all missed more then few weeks. IDG gone for season, and that is list of players before losing Kaysa and Scott which only just happened.
We have not played the same spine for more then 2 weeks straight and have one of youngest spines in comp.
It has been a good coaching effort and shown depth of our squad, but the bush coach haters will still have go at BA despite what he has done.
  • Tits beat drag queens which leaves the bottom five or six teams in the8 within 2 points of each other, dragons are as usual choking, Cowboys without JT we could leap frog a few if we keep winning. As for troubling Roosters, Sharrks and especially the Storm we are way short of the mark but hey, anything can happen in league.
