2016 players off contract and 2017 player movments

we have 19 players coming off contract at seasons end who should we re sign we do we let go.

i will not pick just yet because a lot of players are playing for a contract this season but i beilive we need to re sign paulo norman and peats if we can stay fit most of the season. saying that there are also a lot of decent and good players also coming on the market at seasons end and who should we be looking at signing i will list all our players and the players from different clubs on the market. because i name the players i do does not mean i rate them or would consider signing them but just that they are players worth mentioning.

who should we target and who should we look to resign?

If we go good, we sign our own off contract players. If we go bad we look at other options. Some of the off contract players youve listed arnt going anywhere. Or want to play for a queensland outfit. And it all depends what other clubs offer. For me Jr Paulo is the most valuable. He sets a plaform that makes others look better. I like Norman, but his resigning depends on his formula with Foran. Unless Peats shows someting phenominal he is expendable. Id like to keep Alvaro as a future replacement for Mannah. Other eels depends on form this year. I cant see Wicks leaving tho. Re other teams players i like the jennings brothers potential, Nikorima in the halves who might be squeezed out of Brizzy re lack of op. Re Rein, i personally like him better than Segeyaro or Peats (less injuries). Cant see Parker, Bromwich, Jackson or Sims leaving. Love Klemmer , Eastwood and Lawrence but it all depends on value. Absolute no to Tamou or Trex. Both are whingers and lazy.

The 1st 4 (Norman, Paulo, Peats, Alvaro) are a must. These guys are still young and they're best footy is still ahead of them.

I would say we will be losing the majority of that list to cover for Jennings long term deal.

A lot of these won't be top 25 players so little impact unless we want to upgrade them.

Depending on form this year ...Re-sign the top 4 for sure. Gordon may retire if his mentoring is good. Kelly and Toutai can sign elsewhere.

Can Mansour play fullback? Also, get Jennings bros on the cheap.
