I was just checking out ebay and a seller on there is already selling Eels 2016 jerseys.
The blue home one and also they say that the '86 premiership jersey (2015 heritage) is the away jersey for 2016.
Is this true or just someone desperate to move stock??

No idea but if its true WELL DONE LARRISA YOU GOOD THING for respecting tradition and not turning to jersey into a complete farce like the bananas in pyjamas white one a few years ago, white is not part of our colours and looks freaking lame, this is a respectful and nice jersey, with history well in tact and it will be a very solid seller id be betting.
Larissa is the one that designs the jerseys, her role goes alot further than memberships apparently.
I was quite shocked and worried on a few fronts when she stated shes the one that does the jerseys, i raised my honest concerns with her about her ability to do it and seriously questioned the fact that she was handed the role to which she graciously replied to all my questions and i was put at ease a bit.
I was only worried because i wasnt sure if she was in touch with the history and tradition of the club, i thought she might have been a johnny come lately.
I expressed the honour and huge responsibility she has with designing the jersey and shes fully aware of that and shes aware of out tradition and how important the jersey is.
IMO if this is the new jersey its clear shes listened to the fans which i greatly respect.
The talk has been for years on forums that most people fav eels jersey is the 86 model, the calls gone out for years to make it our official jersey, and to her credit shes listened and not put some garbage modern design infront of what the fans want.
Thats all i can ask of her, that shes in touch with the die hard fan, shes willing to listen and ask for feedback instead of going her own way, she has a huge responsibility and im pretty impressed with what im seeing, this jersey proves shes in touch with the fan and history of the club.
So a big thankyou to her, the jersey means a hell of a lot fans, especially us fans who treasure tradition and shes hit a home run with this one.
You can never please everybody but im certain this is the jersey that will please most, where as a new modern dogs breakfast jersey would only have pleased a very small amount.
Larissa is the Manager of Membership & Consumer Business at the club, so her role goes beyond memberships.
LOL Yes wiz, its true, its Larissa's job, i was very worried when i heard the news too, but to her credit shes hit it out of the park with this one if infact its our official away jersey, shes gaining my confidence.
My fav eels jersey is actually the 81 yellow jersey, but i'll take the 86 model any day as our away jersey, its a great look and a real favourite for eels fans.
