I don’t want to death ride us already but my biggest concern for 2016 is injuries. Seriously we had an awful 2015 but let’s have a quick look at our potential favoured top 17. It seems as though we have taken some risks across the board…
If you are dead set honest here and I am not talking about “freak” injuries, we have really rolled the dice here with this team.

1 Michael Gordon (Has spent a very large part of his career with or battling injury. Knee and hamstrings I believe)
2 Semi Radrada (No worries here really)
3 Dylan Farrell (Missed a lot of time with serious injury, shoulders?)
4 Brad Takarangi (Had a great year for us but has had an injury prone career)
5 Clinton Gutherson (Not been around long and missed all last season with ACL, big concern)
6 Corey Norman (No worries here really)
7 Keiran Foran (Miss much of 2015 with hamstring and has battled for a while)
8 Tim Mannah (No worries here really)
9 Nathan Peats (Yet to finish a season has he? Fortunately our best covered position)
10 Junior Paulo (No worries here really)
11 Beau Scott (Definitely some injury concerns)
12 Manu Mau (No worries here really)
13 Choc Watmough (Definitely some injury concerns, very tough but carries many injuries)
14 Danny Wicks (Nothing outstanding but did miss late season with shoulder problem)
15 Daniel Alvaro (No worries here really)
16 Tepai Moeroa (Ongoing shoulder nerve problem, hasn’t played the same with it)
17 Kenny Edwards (Spent all season out, bad history of injury)

Replace Farrell with Faraimo or Morgan and there is one less to worry about. You get my point of discussion though, right?
When has Gordon spent a lot of time off the field because of injury? The only 2 extremely noticeable years that he's had extended time off was in 2011/12 where he only played 16 games between the 2 years. Other than that he's played most of the season and in the past 3 years he's played 20+.
What injury concerns does Alvaro have? From what I can remember the only time he's missed extended periods of time with injury was in his final year of the NYC but since playing NSW cup he's played fairly regularly from what I recall.
This was the first year since Foran started playing regular first grade that he hasn't played 20+ games...he played 19.
The ones we'll really have to worry about is Peats, Scott, Gutherson, and Farrell. Scott could have less injuries if he doesn't have to play Origin next year and can focus on only playing for the Eels. Manly's medical staff are worse than ours and we've recently upgraded the amount of money we've put into the medical staff so there could be hope for Gutherson yet. But out of that 17 those are the only 4 that I would be overly worried about their history of not playing many games.

Paul, you have a stable full of unicorns but are a worried man. I suggest you take your favourite mare out and ride her hard which is good for stress.
I do think between Foran, Moeroa, Peats, Taka, Scott, Chock, Edwards etc there are some real concerns. Of course I hope we have a dream run but I think when you look at our team there are some very real, very current struggles in the line up.
