Yeah fair point about Kelepi, but it's not good to have too many rookie forwards in your team. We already have three with Pauli, Paulo, and Moeroa, while Ma'u and Edwards have only played one year. We still have some really good prospects in the U20s who are yet to break through. From what I've seen of Aloiai he looks outstanding and has been selected in the Junior Kiwis squad.
...ahhhh so he was drinking? No wonder we let him go.
I have a feeling our style of play will be very Manly - like in 2015. Hard assed defense and earning the rite to offload in attack through completing each set, keeping errors to a minimum and EXCELLENT 5TH TACKLE DECISIONS.
I was thinking the same Punk
The amount of tries we scored from our own half was awesome, and even just inside the opposition's 50, it was good footy to watch. We've just gotta get better inside the opposition 20, Moeroa steaming onto the ball running an outside-in line will go a long way into us scoring close range tries.
Yes we were quite poor in our attacking options inside opposition 20, most of the play appeared to be Sandow, buggered if I know what Norman was doing?
