2015 plays

Please parra can we bring back offloads im so sick of seing same plays every week. The sweep around to the wingers. Also can someone please tell the hooker to run out of dummy half more ? Our plays are very predictable .Does anyone else agree?

  • I agree same old play hit up three spread the ball wide. Predictable.
  • Couldn't have been too predictable, collectively our wingers scored 41 tries this year. Not sure how many came off this sweeping play but I'd say a fair few of them come from it. Better, more sophisticated set plays come from years of playing together, this year the only players in our halves and backline that had played together previously were Sandow with Sio and Morgan. Another off-season of training should see our backline players gel together.

  • In the Canberra game we definitely didn't use Moeroa enough in the first half.

  • What about offloads ? It gets boring after seeing same plays and bombs. How about fast play the ball and hooker sprints. Im not a coach but pretty obvious other team can easily read our plays.

"Kautoga started the same last season, everyone wanted him out of the team. By the end of the year he was our most dangerous attacking weapon, and was hitting hard in defence. Give him time, he will come good."
