2011 Top 25

Here's my crack at a top 25 for next year. One star denotes current players we may retain, two stars denotes outside players we may look to pick up. I've just used players who have been mentioned in dispatches that I think would fit well. You could of course interchange them with any number of players. In my view, I reckon we've got about four signing to make.

Te Maari = wwaaaayyyy more potential than Oake, I'd love to see him get a proper run, i think he'd impress

I actually would prefer Grothe over Brad Tighe. Grothe's hitups in the game are so important for our go forward and our forwards are fresher and make more metres. Look at the difference in metres we make without him.

Depending on who we get in the halves there may be some cash to throw at the Guru.

Say we get Kimmorley for not much more than 150k it would be silly not to at least offer Grothe what he is currently on - geez I hope we offer him a contract if there is cash to spend. I mean he sits out 15 weeks this year that we are paying him for to get a knee op and then we just let him go?

wouldnt it be nice to have johnny mannah, piggy and kimmorley. before johnny mannahs sickness i rated him better than tim so i think if he can get close to timmys form then we would have a really formidable forward pack!
