This seasons squad looks sharper right across the park. We had some really good players in 09 but there were too many of them trying to be the team super star rather than getting their hands dirty doing the little thing right.

How the hell did we get to the 09 GF.
Hayne and Fui were both in the form of their career also with what i think is one of the best benches.
Our bench - Kingston / Mateo / Galuvao and Mannah
I think our bench this year has similar potential.
I think the current team looks stronger as a whole but the thing that can't be compared was the unbelievable form of Hayne post Origin that year.
It was a run of form unlike any player before or since where he virtually conjured wins single handed.
agree - - - and Fui was amazing as well.
Just looking at the team list, we got some real potential....
