  'Winning' by cheating isn't winning Brett Allen. They breached the rules of the game. If Todd Lowrie carried a gun on the field, shot Cam Smith in the face and Parra won the game, by your reasoning Parra would have still won despite breaching the rules.

  In a competition where the salary cap was policed properly and it was a genuine level playing field no club would make 7 grand finals in 12 years.

    That's why the NRL gives them a boost - imagine if they had won 7 spoons in that time they would probably no longer exist.

  Yes and that is a total joke; can recall a Bellamy article about this during season. A joke.....they may have won the game Brett but it was deemed illegal; therefore its a not a win.

  Currently and even then in 2007, 2009 the NRL is a disgrace! However, it’s appearing to get worse, the refereeing is a total farce and the NRL control teams and games to their discretion and anyone who thinks otherwise is being duped.

  Do people still say Olympic athletes like Marion Jones, Carl lewis are gold medal athletes or that Lance Armstrong won however many races.
  Very rarely but when they do they immediately say something about it being stripped due to cheating. Never hear that about storm but nrl is known to turn a blind eye.
  Not just administration but fans and media as well.
