That was heartbreaking, minor premiers that year too.
I was at that game, bought a new jersey and everything for it . Took a bunch of mates who were dogs fans and perched myself up in the catered suite expecting to romp in a win. These pricks got a gut full of free piss courtesy of my invitation and proceeded to stick it to me for the whole game and all the way home. Just another scar of following Parramatta .
I was at that final as well, nightmare of a game
I was there too. We started like a house on fire peppering their line for the first 5-10 minutes but rookie 7 Smith rushed every play in his excitement and we came up empty handed, we were never in it after that.

That season still haunts my nightmares
Was there with my brother; i vividly recall Hindu being hurt and was out for a while; but we were crap. D Wagon made a rare defence error and they scored some easy tries. Shame as we had the talent to win the GF again.....thats why B Smith was so good but he just could not get us there.
