2001 again?

Watching the game tonight I had that feeling of 2001 again.Back then we had some new recruits and a team that looked ok, not special, on paper.There was no real stand out player in the team, just a good all-round squad.It's early days and so much is ahead of us but for the first time in a long time we look to have a really solid side all over the park. Our backline is skilful and balanced. Our forwards were strong and tackled with passion. Time and again we drove Manly backwards. Our go forward was powerful and purposeful. We attacked well and defended well and everyone played their part.Wouldn't it be nice if we could do 2001 again and go one better!

    Sign Sandow, Hopoate& Taka now b4 their price goes up & I would be playing Tepai off the bench & easing him in a bit slower

      Nah Tepai was solid starting. Would have played the full 80 but existing nerve damage played up. A real shame Edwards is out, but Peats slotted in perfectly in the 2nd row spot for a time.

"I really like Samrani but if JR decides to give him up for MB I think that is a massive mistake. 
IMO Samrani should be 1st drop for either centre/ wing if one of our starters is out. Brian Kelly is bog average and not going to get better.
