2 weeks and the first 10 mins in each second half

As we have done all year we have struggled when we go into games as favourites but it was not until the Storm final and the the loss to the Cowboys did we lose a game when leading at half time.

The 2 games were very different, as in against the Cowboys we lacked pretty much everything.  The key in both however was that we had 2 10 min bad spells at the beginning of the second half in both games that cost us.

The question i have is how does BA move us for contenders to a team with absolute resolution to fight to the better end like both our past 2 rivals in the Storm and the Cowboys.

Also, next year will be get better or be like the Raiders and struggle with expectation and once again disappoint?

What will 2018 bring???

    Read a stat that in the regular season, we won 14/14 when leading at halftime - outstanding. However we lost both finals after leading at halftime. Add to that, we won 16 games all year, if we led in 14 at hftm, and won 14, it means we were 2/10 when level or behind. This is poor. As you mention, 40-60mins was where we let teams back in, yet clung on to win (except finals) or just got further behind and lost. Last year I think our team was far more resilient than this year with more experience (IDG, Gordon, Scott playing more mins). We were often behind, clung on and then came over the top against teams. That was disappointing this year that we had no real way to keep turning teams away and then finishing well. That will come with experience I guess.

    Still gutted. Just watched a bit of the game from Saturday. We played so well in the first half but couldn't get enough points. Then fell asleep 2nd half. Same old story . I hope BA flogs them in off season training and teaches them some mental toughness to play 80 minutes. Norman needs to pull his finger out he was poor. At this early stage I think we may struggle in 2018. My prediction 9th or if lucky 8th.

    Very happy with the season but they threw that game away v cowboys.

Wouldn't be suprised if the announcement comes in the coming weeks.Postive sign is it frees up a lot of cash and finally good riddance.Cant keep overpaying a player that can't even crack first grade.His times up by the looks of it now:
