As the title says 2 players at other clubs undergoing some issues are in two positions of need for the eels.  I have not seen their names mentioned on any blogs as yet but say for 2 years each would they be fair signings.

1: Benji Marshal,  Has killed us that many times in the past & I think he still has a couple of years to offer.

2: Robbie Farah.  If he could get part pay from Wests, he would be a better fill than IDG & help develop Pritchard not in injury areas though.

  • we need to move past recruiting has beens
    • & what of Carney?  I am on record of saying I am not fussed about the signing of older players, but so far many of the young ones have not been overly impressive & need time to transition. These are two experienced players in their respective positions who are also pretty good in them as well.

As I mention, short term of around 2 years, two problem areas we have ATM.

  • I'll say no and no. Parra seem to find a way to turn somebodies into nobodies. But Brad knows how to turn nobodies into somebodies....
  • No to Benji, no to Farah, I would rather try and get Peats back.
  • If it's true that's south's are trying to offload Turgess we should really chase him.
  • Yeah nahhhh.

  • Pass on both; Farah is too slow and all about him it seems. Tigers have not lost a lot when he is not playing. Benji- no thanks.

  • Benji Knocked Back $300k From Dragons. Is He Worth More To Us? No

    Yes To Farah And Carney

    • Benji wanted an extended contract which was knocked back the dragons, the amount was the upper limit per season.
