Just got off the phone, from my mate, who is friends with roy.

He's told me we have made to 2 serious offers to Cronk which was informed to me to be worth about $650,000 and Adam Blair which wasn't discloused.

Got a call back cronks has been offered a 4 year deal

Fair enough, but I guess we'll have to wait and find out.
Personally, I think we have an abundance of second rowers, both experienced and youthful, but I guess Blair would be a handy addition should we get him.

Cronk should be the leading man, or a halfback at least.

Well apparently, there was about 700-750k left in the cap to use, and if 600k of that is going to Cronk?
Evidently, that leaves us with little money to play with for Blair.
That is, unless Tahu won't be re-signing, thus paving the way for Blair to come.

Problem with that though, is that should Tahu leave, we're down an experienced back.

i guess this is one of those situations that we have to wait and see what happens.

If this were true I guarantee the 650k is including 3rd party payments. I would say his cap contract is 350-400k.

As George said, you would think that a fair proportion of that would be 3rd party deals.
You'd expect it to be 650k a year, including third party deals.
