You could point to many bumbling efforts tonight that tipify our season. Browns play the ball clanger, Gutho's shank goal kick or French's foot on the line. Ok, French's effort wasn't bumbling, but you get the drift.
However, the 2 tastiest Eels showreel morsels for me were;
1. The completed sets stat after 30 mins:
- Knights 12 / 12
- Eel 8 / 14
For the love of all that is holy, can we put the trick shots away till later in the half's until defenders are tired? Need to build pressure. Normans close range kicking game is really quite good. Need to get him closer to the goal line.
2. Our amazing number 9 poking himself in the eye and getting treatment.

My numbness has truly set in.
A fellow suffering mate texted me saying "Michael Jennings is rubbish" and I replied yeah he is without even a hint of emotion....the eels have sucked the fun out of watching them. I typically just have the TV on in the background while doing other stuff.
I've never been this dis-interested in my Eels. I can't be the only one out there. This is the most worrying fan emotion...none at all.

He looked terrible tonight didn’t he. I’m sure it was cold but seriously you can’t dress like that as a professional coach/manager Again it shows how this club is being run, we don’t set and keep any standards or was it too cold so we said ok wear ur tracksuit to keep warm. Fark and we then ask why the players take short cuts. Either you wear a suit to every game or none simple as that.
I wonder how the sponsors feel about it, I’m pretty sure kanebridge has their brand on his collar, again this is really poor and any reflects how poorly we are across the board failing the 1%ers on and off the field
Michael, I don't think he has worn a suit all matches, but certainly at a heck of a lot of them he has.
Looking at him in the after match presser he and Gutho really looked pathetic, sadly that was how the team made choices, if there was anything positive to come out of last nights game for the team, it would be that they did not have more points scored against them.
Interestingly when we suffered a larger loss against the knights last time round Pearce was not in the side, but last night with him in the side directing the knights the defence of the eels was better.
Why is Gutho now the primary goal kicker over Moses, or even Norms, that one conversion miss should have been kicked had Moses taken the shot.
We have never had a press conference on a Monday before Darren - must be serious.
I agree daz, I usually get angry when we lose and I was during moments but most of the time I was in a zombie state, I’m feeling empty these days, it’s an odd feeling.
There were so many moments I could be here all night but the one I went for was when we were pressuring the knights and forced a drop out, the trainer stops the game to strap kings knee giving the knights a long rest, is the whole farken club stupid from the top down or what!
