So it's time to organise our annual get together. As usual we'll make it at the Firehouse - I'm thinking Sat 26th October.
It's always nice to put a face to the names you read here every day, and we've of course had a lot of new members join over the past year, so hopefully we can get a few people together. If not, well there's nothing sadder than a grown man knocking back Fire Engines on his lonesome. No pressure, or anything, guys.
While not a lot to celebrate on the Parra front, I think we can raise a few to our not-so-little-anymore community here. You might remember last month I was a bit chuffed that the site did a million page impressions for the first time - the last 30 days it did 1.5m with close to 40,000 visitors.

OH - I would love to come! But the Mariners have a game that night, and after this year with Parra, I think I am in desperate need of watching/supporting a winning football side.
damn..... I missed it the lat few years and if its that date, I may miss out agiain...planning to go to the central coast for oktoberfest that weekend.
Dang, wish I was in Oz. I'd fly to Sydney for that.....then duck to the Casino :)
The best I can hope for is the "lads" and "ladettes" have a good time.
