I was looking back on our 1997 season when I was doing this video whilst things are a bit quiet in terms of Rugby League currently. What were your memories of our 1997 season?
We were up 18-0 in the first semi-final v Newcastle and lost 28-20. Next week we were leading North Sydney and got chased down.

Yes, but didn't we get smashed by Newcastle (as in physically, not necessarily on the scoreboard) and had key players drop like flies during that game? From memory, most of them were then out the following week against Norths.

We were up by plenty, they started to come back, and then Jason Bell broke his arm and we lost! Nothing was ever mentioned afterwoods in the media of losing Belly but he was as important to us as Joey was to the Knights!!

Decent one but again we fell short, from memory it was B Smiths first year? Lost minor semis?
