10 Straight Points!

Well, I want to start by saying that I am far from impressed with tonight's win. Given the tigers were without their two best players as well as their halfback, tonight was a golden opportunity to put this team to the sword and really rack up a score. But we didn't.Anyway, positive news. With the bye next week, that will be 10 straight points for the blue and gold! I believe the last time we recorded 10 straight points was in 2009. Yes, 4 of those points were from the bye rounds, but even without the byes, we are still riding a 3 game win streak, which again is something we haven't done in god knows how long. What's been impressive about this streak is the fact that we are playing without a lot of key players and we are still winning games.I just want to give a quick shout out to the king of Fiji, Mr. Semi Radradra. FIVE STRAIGHT DOUBLES!!! Huge achievement for the young lad.Enjoy the bye round folks, because we have a tough couple games coming up to follow the bye. (Dogs H & Cowboys A)

  • I'm with you on this, less then impressive first half! What would we do without semi!? Glad they are at least now putting in the effor for the last 40 mins
  • were playing like premiers now hehe

we will carve up doggs, and payback the cowboys, dont worry about that!!!

  • Play poor and still win that in itself is great considering we have played alot better but lacked the mental edge in past. Radradra what a freak!
  • We are finding ways to win ugly which is good but it won't be enough against the stronger sides. Lets hope we can turn it on v the dogs in 2 weeks. Go u eels boys.

  • I feel ya they were down on troops the tigers but when you think about our injury toll and high rotation of players and positional changes we are going ok. Not great but a win no less
  • Ugly win I love it!!!
  • I thought this game would be hard fought and it was. It's what we needed in my view. Canterbury is the game we need to be up for, as Cowboys won't lose to us up there. In all honesty I think we will win a few more games, but finish on about 24. Think we are giving away to much ball, and putting pressure on our attack with those short passes. Any way a good win.
  • If we complete like we did against the dragons we could easily make the 8.
