We were up but couldn't hold them off in a purple patch for them. Too much jersey grabbing, some very poor decision making from Pearson, our forwards dont seem to like hitting the line at pace and when they did we made line breaks but no support and yeh we had a pretty shitty call of a forward pass to win the game when it cleary wasnt
We need a half back who is a gereral and can take the game by the horns we it counts, Pearson just isnt capable.
We were mostly better with our defence, but our attack close to our try line is still awful. Hence we need a better halfback.
Rory Owen went off could see the difference in our attack. Abbie Church ⛪️ is a legend. Almost won it on her own back. We need new halves and some more physical forwards. Matele was strong 💪. I don't know what happened to her running mate tui?
Bloody oath Abbi is, there was only 3-5 llayers actually playing the way they should. Rory hasnt been as impactful this season as she would have liked but everthing she does is as professional as they come
Some of the moves Rory put on was like e.t or Mary in their Hey day.
This comp won't see out the decade. Clubs are heamorigung money trying to support their teams.
Rachel Pearson, she's 32, looks 42, and plays like she's 52. Church and Owen only get the ball when they go looking for it. Apart from Church, the rest of the spine wouldn't have a brain between them. Whatever the club is spending on them, stop, put it into the juniors, be better for the club long term.
