Semi Radradra claims Eels still owe him $125,000 in third-party payments
SEMI Radradra claims he is still owed $125,000 in third-party payments over and above his $250,000 salary even though Parramatta are adamant the star winger is not owed a cent.
Radradra said he was promised the money and that was part of the reason for his walkout on the club two weeks ago.
An angry Radradra returned to Sydney on Thursday night but he is no longer permitted to live in his Telopea townhouse, and has instead been forced to reside in the club’s apartments, which are nicknamed The Bronx. But the club has now agreed to upgrade his accommodation and he is likely to move again next week.
An AVO taken out by the woman living in the townhouse, Perina Ting, is the reason Radradra is forced to live elsewhere.
Radradra reconsidered his future after telling teammates and friends he was moving to France to play rugby on a $35,000-a-week deal. The NRL threatened him with Supreme Court action if he went ahead with the rugby move, forcing him back to Parra, where he is understood to be desperately unhappy.
The Eels initially indicated Radradra had gone home and would return with his dad, Samisoni Waqavatu, who had been ill. It turns out Samisoni had been battling nothing more than a bout of asthma.
screw him. seriously. Let the bloke rot in Wenty. The club found him, taught him the game, supported him and his family including housing his Ex and child. we offer him accommodation and it isn't good enough, he lies about his return dates, 3 times, and the reason for his trip (so much for the sick father). Seriously, I don't want this joke of a man playing for us if that's his attitude

Has Semi and his Manager not been reading the papers for the past few months as the club cannot pay the third party monies.
Exactly, but if its one of the alleged dodgy TPA's that's already been added to our salary cap then may as well just pay him and move forward.
Its been reported that Foran is suing Manly for unpaid TPA's. If he won that case would that 120K be added to Manlys (past or present) salary cap.
Rebecca Wilson will never let the facts get in the way of her story. Especially when it involves Parra.
WTF. Does Semi really think the club are going to pay the third parties monies another organisation entered into with Semi. Has Semi and his Manager not realise the club is in serious problems for doing this in the past. Common sense is not common!
Unless the NRL have now decided some of our TPAs are in fact 'legal'
One reason for not paying could allegedly be that the agreed contract was from illegal monies ripped from the club and passed onto another organisation (the reason why the Police are now involved)?
A second reason could be that the contract is legal and at arms length with another organisation, which is what TPAs are supposed to be. If the TPA is legal and the other organisation has breached their contract with Semi then the club is not responsible or liable. If the club became involved and paid the short comings for someone else in a legal NRL TPA it would completely and utterly dissolve the principle of TPA's.
They are counted in cap anyway
Any new ones - no way should we pay them.
