There was a very bad car accident on Sunday afternoon at Kellyville.
A young 7yr old and his dad are struggling a Westmead & Westmead Children's Hospital.
Jake is an under 7's player for Girraween Eagles and has a brilliant personality.
His dad Stephen is the club Secretary.
Little Jake has 3 spinal fractures, broken sternum and collarbone, and a punctured oesophagus and surgeons are still assessing him.
Stephen has been in theatre for most of today having surgery on both legs, his right arm and hand, all of which had multiple fractures.
Stephen also played under 23's for Parra in the early 80's and was a dedicated referee in the PDJRL.
What ever your belief, say a prayer, send your best wishes, kill a goat or whatever you can do to send them good fortune.
Darcy Lussick went to see him today on his day off, thanks mate you lifted Jakes spirit.

Its stories like these that make us question our lives. We worry about little petty stuff that really doesn't matter.
Here today and could very well be gone tomorrow.
